Neural Networks - Too Many Weights

Hi all

I am trying to run the r-NNet Neural Network algorithm and receiving an error message:

A critical error occurred:

An error occurred while executing commands in the R environment. / Error from R:

"Error in nnet.default(x, y, w, ...) : too many (10258) weights"

I have done very little to configuring the algorithm in order to work out what / how to configure it. All I have done it select a number of Independent Columns (tried 2 or, 3 or 6) and a Dependent Columns. Everything else I left as default. There are a number of advanced properties that are not at obvious, including a Maximum Weights property.

Anyone got any ideas what the error means, and how to solve this?

Is there any documentation beyond the basic stuff in the user guide?

Meanwhile, it is onto the search engines :-)

Thanks

Al.
